My favorite quote from last night because it makes me the most angry…
Her: “You know to go into marketing you have to dress really nice and look super cute all the time, right?”
REALLY? You think I don’t know that? I actually enjoy dressing up nicely and looking super awesome because I’m really fucking cute. The reason I don’t do it around [insert select group of people] is because every time I do they make fun of me for it. So I just stick with my jeans and T shirts. So to her idiotic question, I responded:
Me: “Yeah, I’m actually really into fashion and look super nice most of the time. You guys just don’t know because I get made fun of when I dress that way around you.”
Her: “Oh…”
Me: “It’s actually my dream to work for Coach in New York City.”
Her: “Really? I never would have thought about you like that.”
That’s because everyone in this group sees me as the 11 year old who looked like Harry Potter and not the 22 year old who is actually really fucking cool.

Everytime
I see something about lovey, dovey crap or those stupid pictures that have words over them where the words don’t even relate to whatever the hell the picture is, I can’t help thinking something cynical and along the lines of ‘yeah, right.’ I think I’m getting old and realistic. Most days I wish I were as creative as I used to be.
